Hello there, I’m Betty Contreras, MSPT. I’m a pediatric physical therapist working and living in NYC.
Have you noticed that your child can’t sit up straight, prefers to lean on furniture, or appears clumsy on the playground? Have they not started walking yet? Do they have a difficult time in a crawling position?
I believe movement is everything. Through movement we explore our environment and interact with the world. I believe there are fundamental movements that are imperative to achieving higher physical function.
I provide in-home one-on-one care and I provide screenings, evaluations and individualized treatment plans to address your child's physical therapy needs.
Family involvement and training is encouraged. I provide a home exercise program for reinforcing activities.
ALL TREATMENT SESSIONS ARE DONE IN THE CONVENIENCE OF THE CHILD'S HOME OR SCHOOL. I HAVE FOUND THIS TO BE MORE BENEFICIAL TO THE CHILDREN, CAREGIVERS AND PARENTS.
